Icon blockchain

In order to offer a new alternative for Star du Foot, we decided to use the Icon blockchain. Icon is a blockchain that was founded with the aim of interconnecting a large number of blockchains to each other in order to weave a huge web within multiple different sectors. It also wants to implement other projects including the "My ID" platform to authenticate digital identities quickly.

Obviously, it is not the intention here to make a complete presentation of Icon but to present to you the advantages of which we take advantage:

In order to achieve our goals, we linked up with Icon France who is in charge of one of the nodes of the Icon blockchain in order to build our new ecosystem. With their help, we were able to implement several of our mechanics leveraging the Icon blockchain like:

• Using the Icon blockchain to secure transactions

• NFT rewards (in-game items)

• New in-game economy

• And many more!
