# Economy

In order to fund the game, **Icon France** will use its blockchain node to offer ICX and other rewards to players, all thanks to the activity you will produce on the game (the bigger your feed, the bigger your rewards).\
\
**Goalars** are at the center of the game, initially, you will be able to exchange your goalars for ICX. Goalars will be **external** to the blockchain & the rewards linked to them will be given to those who **vote** for the icon France node but also to players who **have** them.\
Then, this system will evolve, the final goal is to build the goalars as a **real cryptocurrency** with its own value and exchangeable against any other currency.\
\
If you are not interested in cryptocurrencies, don't go! The SDF team and its partner Icon France have made sure that you don't see anything, the game will remain the **same** - with its improvements of course -. You can even ask for rewards exclusively in goalars if you wish.

In the interest of transparency, some of the code will be available to everyone, including the code for rewards, exchanges, etc.. So you can check by yourself that the rewards offered to the community have not been altered in any way, and the same goes for exchanges or rentals.
